What is it?

A lot of climbers run. A lot of runners climb. These group runs are a chance for runners of all abilities and backgrounds to get together and get dirty, muddy, dusty, sandy, larry, moe, and curly. Come out and run for 30 minutes or 10 hours!

Next Run:

Schedule: May 6 - Bonneville Shoreline- Red Butte Garden

Directions:

From Foothill Blvd, turn onto Wakara Way (about 600 S.) and head east until you run into a stop sign.  Make a left at the sign on to Chipeta Way and follow the road through 2 stop signs as it makes its way up east again towards Red Butte Canyon. Park in the parking lot on the south side of the road just before the construction.  Meet in front of the construction area just before the entrance of Red Butte Canyon.

Meet there at 6 pm.

  • Length and direction of the run will be determined by attendees.
  • There will be no aid along the trail, so please bring water and food/ gels to keep your body happy during the run.

COMING IN THE WEEKS AHEAD!

May 13 - Temple Quarry Trail - Little Cottonwood Canyon

Directions: To get there take I-215 eastbound and turn off on exit 6 onto 6200 South and make a left. Follow 6200 south (Wasatch blvd) staying to the left at the fork as it turns into little cottonwood canyon road. Just before the stop sign (where you turn right onto the road up the canyon), you'll see a paved turnoff to your right taking you to the Temple Quarry Trail parking area.

May 20 - Mill Creek Canyon - Desolation Trail

Directions: Take I-215 east bound to Wasatch Blvd. (3300, 3900, 4500 S. exits). Head over to 3800 S and turn heading east up into Millcreek canyon. Follow the road a ways up the canyon. Eventually you will run into the Desolation trail head on your right. (check the map) Drive slowly, its easy to miss.

 

Meet there at 6 pm.
