Event Information This is the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance second annual fundraising event. The SLCA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which exists to promote climbing opportunities, preserve local access and encourage stewardship of the environment. This fundraiser event is presented by Black Diamond Equipment. The event includes an all ages, all abilities, bouldering competition from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, followed by an indoor/outdoor party from 7 to 10pm. The party includes food, drinks, music and other entertainment, including a slack line and bar-game Olympics. Black Diamond Equipment is the SLCA’s corporate partner but many other great sponsors are supporting this event: Major Sponsors Petzl, Uinta Brewing Company, Lortsher & Vlasic Catering & Events and our host The Front Climbing Club; Contributing Sponsors Revolution, Blurr, Metolius, Liberty Mountain, Patagonia, Five Ten, Black Diamond Store, MSR, Misty Mountain and IME. We've chosen to keep the divisions like the previous events. Those that really want more of a competitive feel should join the Open category. Remember, the Citizen Comps are intended to be a fun and community building event. These comps are NOT heavily competitive and we've got routes for all abilities, from the V0 beginner to V10 and above, plus we'll probably screw up the scoring anyways. Camaraderie and sportsmanship are emphasized.

Comp Spectators
Everyone is welcome to watch during the comp, there will be no charge for spectators. However, everyone will need a ticket for the evening benefit party.

Register online -- it's good for everyone. Not only do you save a few bucks, but we can staff and sponsor the event correctly for the number of competitors.
Liability waiver
Everyone will need a signed liability waiver on file at The Front. If you're under 18 years old, your parent or legal guardian must sign. Get the waiver now.
