SLCA Citizens' comp and party 2007
 

"Who installed this nice rappel anchor that's letting me descend safely in this unexpected snowstorm?" Have you ever asked yourself that question? Most people don't. That's because we expect our climbing areas to have bombproof anchors and bolts. That's where an organization like the Salt Lake Climbers' Alliance (SLCA) comes in. The SLCA exists to promote, strengthen, and unify the climbing community, in addition to working to ensure that access to and safety at our beloved climbing areas are never compromised.
