ABS Regionals Registration

The youth division is in the morning (redpoint, top 5 problems, judged) and the citizens' comp / pre-qualifiers (redpoint, top problems, peer-judged) in the afternoon. Top 8 scores from each gender in the afternoon event gets into the finals that evening. Youth (1-19) can compete in both the morning and afternoon events for an extra $15. Awards and prizes will be given out after the finals (~9pm).

Registration:

Pre-registration is good - save a few bucks and get a better event. When everyone pre-registers we can better staff the event and stock sufficient tee-shirts and prizes.
     - before Jan 15th saves $20!
     - between the 15th and the 25th and you'll save $10

Spectators fees - To reduce the congestion in the gym during the qualifiers; we're now charging $5 for spectators.  Spectator passes are required for the evening finals; entry to the evening finals are included for Youth and Citizens' comp climbers and spectator pass holders.

Registration Instructions

Participant information - enter personal information for the event participant.  Birth date will be used to determine youth division.

If you're under 18 years old your parent or legal guardian must sign the liability waiver.

 

Front Climbing Club Member - Members of the Front Climbing Club receive a discount on the comp.  Join The Front now.

ABS Member - additional $5 for non ABS members.

 

Spectator Passes - will be reserved under the name of the participant.  There are separate passes for the Youth and Citizens' comp.  Spectator passes are required for evening finals.  Youth and Citizens' comp competitors and spectators include evening spectator access.

Youth Divisions - youth divisions are selected automatically based on birth date and sex.  Enter this information in the Participant Information section.  ABS rules define age as age on 12/31/06.

Adult Divisions - if you attend the Citizens' Comp Qualifier, you are required to select a division.

Liability Waiver - all participants must have a signed liability waiver on file at The Front.  You can use your existing waiver, or you can select to complete a new waiver.   You can chose to print and and sign the waiver now, or we can print a copy when you arrive.

Contestants under 18 must have the liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to competition. 

Payments - Payments are process by PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account.  There is no cost to you. 

Refunds given up to the day of the event less $7 service charge.
