2009/2010 Event Season

Mammut Bouldering Championships 2009

THE premier bouldering event on United States soil. July 20 thru 22, Salt Lake City, UT. It's gonna be hot!

Early registration for the citizens' comp is now open. Please! Pre-register early. This helps us plan for the event, and it will really speed your way through the check-in process on the day of the event.

Pro-qualifiers

At The Front Climbing Club. Noon to 7pm, July 20. Admission is free. Come see the worlds best climbers, close and personal.

Pro-finals

At the Shilo Inn parking garage. 6:30 to 8:45pm, July 21. Come early for the best seats. General admission is $15, $10 with a paid Citizens' Comp registration, free with OR badge.

Citizens' Comp

At the world famous Front Climbing Club. Wednesday, July 22, 4:30pm check-in, comp starts at 5:3-pm. Test yourself on the pro-qualifier problems. » more

Professional Photography

The Front has teamed with Nate Young of Cruxphoto to provide competitors the opportunity to purchase professional photographs of their climbing day. The comp photos will be available following the event at www.cruxphoto.com. Nate will try to get everyone, but if you're particularly interested in some photos, just let him know, he'll be happy to focus on you or your friends.

Online Scoring

Only The Front offers a state-of-the-art online web-based scoring system. This scoring system reduces errors, speeds up the scoring process, and now we display the summary scores though our video projector for real-time standings.

Climbing Events

Our citizens' events are all about the sport of climbing and its community. These are events that stress sportsmanship and fun over competition. They're open to everyone with age groups or, for the more competitive, the open class. Everyone is climbing together; no spotlights or high stress, just fun and camaraderie. Learn more >>>here.
